populus is able to support multiple sites with a shared member database and administration system. So from a customer’s perspective each site is unique, with its own look and feel and URL, but from an administrator’s perspective, all sites are managed through a single administration interface.

Content can be reused across the multiple sites, and there is a single member database which aggregates the customers interactions across all the sites. It’s ideal for organisations with multiple brands or projects which require their own site, but where the organisation wishes to leverage the customer relationship across all brands or projects.
